Rick Ross speaks with V-103’s Greg Street and revealed that he’s hoping to take his next album God Forgives, I Don’t to another level with

production from Dr. Dre, Pharrell Williams, and other noted producers.
The rapper explained that with this new album he’s really hoping to bring more options to the table for his fans.
“I just wanted to go somewhere, just you know, to that next level,” Ross explained in a video captured by Quad Nation TV. “I got to work with some producers such as Dr. Dre. Other producers such as Pharrell…So it’s just been all about me just spending more time than I usually would just to make sure I get something that the people will really love and appreciate. And really just bring different types of records to the table.”
Later in the interview when asked what his biggest accomplishment has been so far at Maybach Music Group, Ross spoke on being inspired by Meek Mill’s career and how far the rapper’s come in such a short period of time.
“It ain’t just about the paper. It’s just about being in position,” said Ross. “Seeing Meek Mill come straight out the joint and now he riding big and that’s before his album even came out. It just let me know as an executive I can make those things happen. That’s what inspire me.”
Despite delays God Forgives, I Don’t is still expected to be released sometime this year.
