(May 30, 2012) – People have been asking us to create a HEAT design for a while but we’ve been hesitant until now. We recently spent some time out in the desert working on a couple of projects for Playboy Magazine. During the trip we ended up linking with some members of a nomadic motorcycle gang who were “passing through” the area. Without knowing it, they were the ones who inspired this design. “These patches on our jackets symbolize unity, family, and the gaul to stand side by side and fight for what’s ours.”We drank bourbon all night, shot guns at the moon, and spent the entire time talking about what we saw as the true, original meanings of Family and Freedom. It’s all too easy in todays society to label people like them as outcasts, rebels, even criminals. But to us these men and women are American warriors, freedom riders.Through thick and thin, win or lose it takes a true family to stick together and battle the hardships of war. Fighting for championships can be viewed in a similar light, as you are never guaranteed victory. You have to fight together as a unit to have even the slightest chance to prosper. This design is not just for sports fans, but for those who love and are willing to fight for the integrity and true values of the people in the city of Miami.“Being forced into a system and coerced into placing importance on what society is forcing down your throat is the opposite of freedom, that means war. These men and women ride with, and for their family or team every single day… These patches on our backs symbolize unity, family, and the gaul to stand side by side and fight for what’s ours.” – Last Rights
