Last week, all-star point guard Dwyane Wade announced his departure from his endorsement deal with Nike’s Jordan Brand, after their three year run together.
Wade also gave us the news on his new endorsement deal with Chinese sports-footwear brand Li-Ning, giving him a speculated multi-million dollar deal.
Li-Ning is not the most popular footwear brand, but they have been around for years, providing signature sneakers for NBA stars like Shaq, Baron Davis, Steve Nash, Ron Artest and many more. The brand’s basketball awareness is growing rapidly, and with D. Wade added to the lineup its looking like its going to be a good year for Li-Ning.
Today, Li-Ning put out the detailed preview images of D. Wade’s first official signature sneaker under the brand. The shoe takes on a very bulky-look, with an all black fibre upper, white & black laces, and Wade’s new logo on the inner tongue and sole. There has also been speculation of the brand giving #3 his own signature apparel line.
