Last Tuesday, Alicia Keys released her much anticipated fifth studio album, Girl On Fire.
The first week numbers are finally in, which see her securing a place at number one on the Billboard 100 chart with 161,000 copies sold. Although the figure proves to be one of the highest of the year, it remains overshadowed by her The Element Of Freedom LP which sold 417,000 copies within seven days back in 2009. Nevertheless, after a lot of positive feedback surrounding the album, Alicia will have her eyes set on claiming an incredible fifth platinum selling project.
