Were you expecting Marvel’s latest film Iron Man 3 to be such a huge success? It appears that the latest in the series has outsold 2012′s notably popular The Avengers in the final total at the end of its opening weekend internationally.
Iron Man 3 managed to make an impressive $195.3 million (£125.7m) as opposed to The Avengers‘ $185.1m (£119m) approximately a year ago. It’s worth noting that last year’s release is currently third in the highest grossed films of all time, but can it be topped but its powerful predecessor? The Robert Downey, Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow-featured film will be available in US theatres this Friday.
