The madness of March finally concluded last weekend which we saw a few upsets, some obvious winners and a heartbreaking injury; but now we’re here for the Final Four set later this evening in Atlanta, Georgia.
We have two games slated for today in which the “Cinderella” team of the tournament thus far has been the no. 9 ranked Wichita State Shockers, as they’ll play the overall favorite to win the tournament, Louisville.
Going into to tonight’s big game, the Cardinals are the heavy favorite to win due to their depth and coaching; but Wichita State is looking to add them to their elite list of teams they’ve defeated in the tournament thus far in the likes of Gonzaga, Ohio State and Pittsburgh. In the nightcap of the double-header, we’ll see the “sexy” match-up of the most talked about team in the tournament, the Michigan Wolverines led by the star of the tournament Trey Burke to take on the Syracuse Orange.
With the Orange’s insane 2-3 defense stopping pick and rolls and drives from Burke and company, Michigan will have to rely on their long distance shooting to have a shot at winning.
