With his new album #MeTime released just, 2 Chainz stopped hot Hot 97 to chop it up with Funkmaster Flex.
The two opened up with Tity finally receiving success after a long grind of being with Ludacris and the DTP family to a solo megastar in hip-hop. Following the footsteps of Luda, he used the same formula of being professional and taking every new opportunity in acting from previous roles on 2 Broke Girls and Law & Order.
Flex brought up the idea of Tity being classified as a “swag rapper,” which he figured out what his audience wanted to hear from him for a takeaway experience. 2 Chainz then touched on putting out mixtapes in the past, and transcending to make music from the underground scene to taking over the mainstream.
