R&B sensation, August Alsina stopped by Power 105 to visit “The World’s Most Dangerous Morning Show”, The Breakfast Club. In the interview, he opens up on early musical influences citing Sister Act 2 as a big inspiration for pursuing a musical career.
He quickly signed to Def Jam and opened up about wanting initially to sign with YMCMB, but had to take a solo route and make a big career decision. August opened up about his past history in New Orleans losing some very close family members, but the 21-year-old has had success this year with his debut single “I Luv This Shit” hitting the Billboard charts. After the jump, you watch his first ever interview with the breakfast club talking about his first major label project Downtown: Life Under the Gun.
