If you’ve been following Nipsey Hu$$le this week, you would happen to know that he just released a mixtape titled Crenshaw with DJ Drama, after more than a year of waiting for Victory Lap.
It also marked a very unconventional way of release because he offered it to fans for $100 dollars, to the first 1000 loyal people who would be proud to pay. This caused a commotion on Twitter, but many proved to support Neighborhood Nip, and joined him on his quest to eliminate the middle man and cop their limited edition copy.

One of those people who copped the album happened to be JAY Z himself.
In this interview with MTV, Nipsey talks about how it all went down, explaining that Roc Nation contacted his management and let him know that Hov bought 100 copies. He hasn’t spoke to him, but he said Jay salutes the movement.
