Sony’s Worldwide Studios President (of SCEI), Shuhei Yoshida revealed earlier this month that the PlayStation 4’s DualShock controller would be compatible with all Windows PCs for “basic functionality".
In comparison to the Dual Shock 3 controller from current-generation platforms that required a custom install in order to have proper functioning, the new Dual Shock 4 is essentially plug-and-play.

PS4 controllers hit retail last week, which consumers intrigued to see if the product worked on other devices would eventually find out that controller was compatible with Apple iMacs. Sony didn’t reveal the controller to be compatible with anything publicly, but have secretly made their device playable for PC and Mac. After the jump, you can see the Dual Shock 4 in action on the iMac.
