The major headline coming out of tonight’s Bulls and Knicks game was the return of Derrick Rose to his home floor.
For most of the night it wasn’t the prettiest of sites, as Rose was often out of control and didn’t seem to have a rhythm. Luckily, his supporting cast was able to hold onto the lead for most of the game before he could put on his Superman cape and drill the eventual game winning bucket with just seconds left.

For the Knicks, this one wasn’t smooth in any way either. They often looked flustered on the court and turned the ball over way too much. Carmelo was able to get his points, but he didn’t do it in a very efficient way. As of right now, they really seem to be lacking that second scorer that they can rely on to get the ball in the hoop when nothing else is working, but luckily for them, JR Smith should be making his return to the court sooner than later. Moving forward, the Knicks will have to work on ways to improve their offensive efficiency and become a more cohesive unit if they want to succeed in the East.

UPDATE: Chicago Bulls get first win of the year with last second Derrick Rose floater to win 82-81 over NY Knicks.
