It was a Damian Lillard vs. Kyrie Irving affair in Cleveland at the Quicken Loans Arena tonight, because this Cavaliers and Trailblazers matchup came down to the wire.

Kyrie took over the game through three quarters but by the time the middle of the 3rd hit, Lillard put the Blazers on his back, hitting multiple 3′s and get Portland within distance. In the 4th quarter Lillard had a streak so hot from the perimeter, that he ended the game with eight 3-pointers. None came as clutch as the one as he hit over Alonzo Gee from way downtown to give the Blazers the 119-116 win over the Cavs.

Damian Lillard ended the game for the Blazers with a career-high 36 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists, while LaMarcus Aldridge added 26 points and 15 rebounds.

Cleveland’s Kyrie Irving had a double double, scoring 25 points and dishing out 10 assists in the home loss.
