Different reports on what Carmelo will do come out almost weekly, and they can’t be helping the team focus on playing basketball. Melo has already stated earlier this season that he will test free agency this Summer, but that of course doesn’t mean that he can’t resign with the Knicks. The good news for Knicks fans today is that Carmelo Anthony’s wife La La recently revealed in an interview with Bravo that she believes her husband will stay in New York this Summer. To us that seems like a pretty good source to trust.
This news comes just a day after Kobe Bryant revealing he wouldn’t directly recruit Melo to the Lakers; which has been the rumored top spot for Anthony to land this Summer. This Summer’s free agency is already shaping up to be one of epic proportions with a number top tier players being able to go to a different team.
“I definitely think he will stay,” La La Anthony said. “I know that he wants to stay, and I support him wherever he wants to go. “Listen, I used to live in Denver with him. If I can live in Denver, I can live anywhere. I just want him to be happy.”
