Along with her own lighting crew on hand, Mariah Carey stopped by “The World’s Most Dangerous Morning Show”, The Breakfast Club..
In the interview, MiMi opens up discussing the alleged Nicki Minaj rift on American Idol, which she cleared up all rumors in the process.

Mariah stated she wanted the show to focus on the contestant, rather than trying to obtain a gimmick “beef” within the show. With the release of her new single “You’re Mine (Eternal)” earlier today, she hopes the track becomes a new Valentine’s Day anthem in its first week.

Her upcoming fourteenth studio album The Art of Letting Go is due this May 6th and will be majority handled by Jermaine Dupri. Along with Charlamagne Tha God admiring MiMi’s beauty (respectfully to Nick Cannon, we hope), the conversation spawned to whether she would have a similar cut to Beyoncé’s popular single at the moment, “Drunk in Love.”

Check below for more from the interview, including news on her upcoming music video, The Art of Letting Go creation process, Trey Songz calling in, and career moving forward.
