Beyonce allegedly severed business ties from her manager, Faisal Durrani who is the Executive of Live Nation.  Durrani is one of several managers that Beyonce had dismissed over the years.
In 2011, The Texan singer fired her father, Matthew Knowles, who managed the star for 21 years since she was in Destiny’s Child in 1990.

Beyonce became the president of Parkwood Entertainment, the Entertainment and Management Company she set up in 2008.  But now she has reportedly dismissed Faisal so that she can gain more independence of her career with her husband, Jay Z. Who all know plays an unofficial manager role.

A source from Daily Mirror says, “Jay has been heavily involved in Beyonce’s career for years, and was instrumental in organizing The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. But he isn’t officially regarded as her manager—she is really independent.”  The insider also added, the couple who have their daughter, Blue Ivy, wants to put family life first. Which plenty of sense to me, being fairly new parent Beyonce  and Jay Z  wants to make sure their family come first at all times.

The best way to do that is to make sure all managerial decisions are made by her and her husband—together. A representative for Beyonce told Mail Online; “Beyonce has managed herself since 2010 under her company Parkwood Entertainment. Faisal Durrani worked for her as President for a very short time.”

Some may think that she and Jay Z’s personal relationship may become strain by not having a manager to help run thing, but if family is her primary concern, then there is no reason the Carter Duo can’t do it all.

Let us know what you think and what are the pros and cons of Beyonce’s decision.
