Before Peyton Manning plays in the biggest game of his career night, the NFL honors him with 2013 league Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year awards.
This is a record 5th time the Denver Broncos quarterback wins NFL MVP, positioning himself two slots higher than Jim Brown, Johnny Unitas and Brett Favre. The only active player in the NFL with multiple MVP awards is currently Tom Brady, who has 2. Peyton earned the award in a landslide receiving 49 of the 50 votes, which the sole vote coincidentally went to Tom Brady.

He would finish the season with arguably the best performance for an NFL player in history breaking both the single-season passing (5,477 yards) and touchdown records (55). Tonight, Peyton will be looking to add onto his magical season with a victory tomorrow night at MetLife Stadium for Super Bowl XLVIII. Check after the jump for more on the story and stay tuned for more coverage leading up to the big game.
