Where you’re in the know or not, before the The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro (starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone) hits theaters in May, an official lead-in video game will releasing a few weeks prior in April.
Much like the movie, the new title will pick up directly after the events of The Amazing Spider-Man to coincide some with the movie’s plot.
In the first developer walkthrough, console studio Beenox shows off some never-before-seen footage including suit upgrades, upgraded web-swinging (our favorite from the game) and free lancing among others in your search for Uncle Ben’s killer. The new “Hero or Menace” system is also explained, which Peter Parker will be in control of his own destiny when not going up against Kraven the Hunter, Kingpin or Electro.
