Only yesterday, we spoke on the possibility of more stories about Michael Jackson surfacing ahead of his posthumous album XSCAPE, and we weren’t wrong.
During Pharrell‘s visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, the musician spoke on one of many phone calls with the one and only Michael Jackson.
The Neptunes originally put together eight songs for MJ, yet the singer wanted a sound closer to “Superthug” by Noreaga. During an important studio session with Justin Timberlake, Pharrell received a call from Michael, but due to not believing that it was actually him, he put the phone down twice. On the third call, Michael simply asked how his recording was, and was strangely eating popcorn at the same time.
