Did you catch V. Stiviano on 20/20 last night? If you didn’t, we got you covered. After going back and forth about appearing on the show, Donald Sterling decided against it, and Stiviano agreed.
Surprisingly, she didn’t throw Sterling under the bus, but rather stood up for him somewhat. Barbara asked her numerous questions about the tape that brought up the scandal and she said people in his corner have been trying to smear her name ever since the two became close.

Though she said she wasn’t in love with him, she called herself Sterling’s “confidant” and his “silly rabbit,” and interestingly doesn’t think he’s a racist. You can watch her full interview below, with some of the most interesting she said.

Let us know what you think of what she said in the comments.

1. Donald Sterling is lonely and emotionally traumatized by what has happened as a result of the tapes.
2. Stiviano absolutely thinks Donald Sterling should apologize for what he said.
3. Why does she wear a visor? Because she’s hurting and in pain.
4. Stiviano doesn’t think Sterling is a racist. She thinks he grew up with different beliefs and was forced into believing them as a kid.
5. The biggest misconception about her, in her point of view, is that she’s a whore and mistress.
6. Stiviano emphasizes that through his actions, Sterling has not proven he is a racist. He is a generous and kind man, but was overwhelmed by the situation he was put in (those close to him putting pressure on him about her).
7. She believes in her heart she made Sterling a better man.
8. Stiviano says she was around to protect Sterling from the people around him and board members, family and friends did not like it.
9. She defends Sterlings comments about “bring them” to the games, saying he meant anyone that was around her. Not just black people, but women, white people and anyone that she would hang around. She claims Sterling’s people would run and gossip.
10. Stiviano says there are still hours of tape that hasn’t been heard by the public and that people are judging him off 15 minutes of a conversation.
