LeBron James might have gone home to play for his childhood team, but not every player in the NBA gets that are opportunity.
Some might opt to do that at the end of their career, but chances are, most players don’t end up playing for the team that their hometown is located in. Imagine if they all did?
Someone actually went through the trouble of putting together some lineups of what the NBA would look like if all the NBA teams kept their hometown talent and the results might surprise you. The Los Angeles Lakers would be somewhat stacked, the Pacers would not be a Eastern Conference power, the Knicks would be washed and the Washington Wizards & L.A. Clippers might NBA champions.

It’s a good thing this isn’t reality for some of these teams.

Bulls might lack at shooting guard and small forward, but they’d be solid.

Trey, LBJ and Sully? Not bad. They might fight for the 8th spot in the playoffs.

Kawhi Leonard & James Harden on a team, with Jrue Holiday and Klay Thompson? NBA2k dynasty.

The frontcourt might need work, but the backcourt looks stacked.
