2 Chainz may be wearing expensive hats and sitting in $2 million dollar cars, but he comes from humble Atlanta beginnings.

Backstage at the Def Jam 30 concert, MTV News caught up with him to ask about the new GQ show he has out and if he could recall some of the most brokest shit he ever did when he was on the come up. Tit told a story about mobbing to the old neighborhood with the top down and meeting up with a homeboy and his mom for dinner one night, and she brought up his younger days when he would eat bread and red Kool-Aid. It’s something that stuck with him, because it just goes to show how far he’s come and makes him thankful for his success.
Dos Cadenas also talked about the new music he’s cooked up for his album, and briefly spoke on hearing what Kanye West has on deck. Watch his interview above.
