XXL Magazine may be ending their print edition this fall with G-Unit gracing the last cover, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t still giving us exclusive gems.
Nearly 7 years since the legendary Queens-based collective disbanded and went their separate ways, they sat down with the mag for an exclusive look into how the crew reunion happened after allowing time to pass.
Now back and closer than ever, G-Unit coincidentally met up at 50 Cent’s Connecticut mansion, which was the last time they were together in 2008 for a media shoot. Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo,Young Buck and new comer Kidd Kidd discussed multiple things that led to their in-house deterioration.
They also opened up on alleged beef with fellow rappers and drop some jewels on the current state of the game in the 42-minute video. After Fifty made calls to resolve everything for their big performance at Summer Jam in New Joisey, a roundtable conversation really allowed them to explain to fans what really went down.
Watch part one of the documentary above, and look for part two to arrive soon.
