Since the Roc-A-Fella breakup exactly 10 years ago, Funkmaster Flex had remained neutral with all parties involved.
Last June, Flex used his platform at Hot 97 to go on a 20-minute rant at Dame Dash in the ‘culture vultures’ wars last summer. Two weeks ago, he started 2015 with the official surprise Dipset reunion, where the original members of the Harlem group stopped by the station to premiere a new single and freestyle.
Word got to HOV’s ‘Life+Times’ imprint about the upcoming tour and promotional roll-out, which they allegedly were looking for more intel on the uptown campaign. Last night, he took to the airwaves to air out a few issues with JAY Z and even confirmed those rumors of him not being allowed to play Diplomats music back in the day at the 40/40 Clubs. Mr. Flex didn’t hold back on anything either regarding people that work for Jay’s website and cited them as plagiarist of his own self-titled site.
