During an investors press release yesterday, Apple Inc. boasted their highest-ever revenue and nearly 50% increase in sales last 4th quarter.
With the iPhone 6 and Mac sales at an all-time high for the corporate giant, CEO Tim Cook revealed the much-anticipated debut of wearable tech will finally be arriving sometime in April.
Since its original announcement last September, many were questioning if the device would be over-priced; but consumers will be able to purchase the standard base model at an introductory price for $350.
Six variety bands are expected to release on upgraded display models Apple Watch Edition and Apple Watch Sport, including: gold, aluminum, leather and stainless steel – serving as some of the premium styles that are rumored to cost $500. Unfortunately, an iPhone 5 or 6 is required to use the new Apple watch, which will work in synch together with receiving phone calls, SMS texts, iMessage, Apple TV and other features within the realm of iOS8.
