After generating much buzz last summer and a drastic ratings increase for its inaugural season finale,
Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson’s-produced drama POWER is nearing it’s second go-around. Today, the first official teaser for season two arrives, giving fans a look into what’s on the horizon for this summer. Last year, viewers were introduced to James ‘Ghost’ St. Patrick, the former street thug, trying to legitimize his funded night club in Manhattan.
With a wife and family at home, Ghost soon rekindles a relationship with his former girlfriend of Long Island, Angela, an Assistant US Attorney. While James is trying to leave behind the street-life, he’s pulled in even deeper, when an array of events hinder the future for his empire. With his mentor Kanan (50 Cent) out of prison on an early release, Ghost and best friend Tommy no longer control things in the underworld of drugs and violence.
Whether or not Shawn (Kanan’s son) finally gets to fulfill his wish of hooking up with Tasha (Ghost’s wife) remains one our most intriguing questions heading into this season, and you can get a taste of the craziness in the short clip above to peep what’s on the way.
