Game 1 for the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs was one of the most entertaining affairs we witnessed in quite some time.
You may think we’re talking about one-the-court action, but we’re referring to the Kobe Bryant’s memorable twitter day that was even talked about during the game.

The Mamba was live tweeting strategy to the Lakers team saying feed the post which visibly got under the skin of Coach Mike D’Antonio calling Kobe “a fan.” Kobe said he would no longer be live tweeting during Laker games which leave a void for the NBA comedy, but we can expect the team to take some of Kobe’s advice to avoid the 0-2 hole.

Manu Ginobili had a breakout game despite being injured and managed to score 18 points in only 19 minutes to provide a much needed boost of bench points for the Spurs.

The Lakers didn’t see any points only scored 10 for the entire game, but will now have back bigman Jordan Hill back. Hill fresh from his season-ending hip surgery has been cleared to play after only 3-months of rehab. This will definitely add much more depth to the Lakers team but the concern we have for them is whether they will cut back on shooting the long ball which only went in 20% of the time during game 1.

Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol both had moderately good contributions to game one considering they weren’t the main focus of offense, but tonight we expect the Lakers to push the ball in the paint. Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green will also have to come up big for the Spurs outside shooting too, with the team only scoring 32 paint points.

Tip-off is at 9:30pm ET on TNT.
