With Rockstar Games’ latest installment in the Grand Theft Auto series approaching with only a month left, we’re granted the first premiere of “GTAV Online".

Following their game-play reveal last month (that gave gamers a sense of the direction Rockstar was going with the series), we see the envelope pushed a bit further in the latest action filled viral video. Just two days ago, we visited Los Santos and Blaine County for the first time ever, but Rockstar Games is taking the GTAV Online component of the game as serious as the single-player which will have its own story, so to speak.

Showcasing a wide-array of redesigned mechanics (including an all new cover system), Rockstar has taken the fundamental concepts from the single-player mission-based section of the game to make a detailed and responsive online world that will be having you playing until Grand Theft Auto 6 releases.

In the trailer, we see online activities from co-op based mission, leisure activities (such as vehicle racing, golfing, air racing and water racing), and even traditional game modes seen in the past, with all new personality and refined mechanics for the game.
Check after the jump to watch the official online trailer, then stay tuned for GTAV to release September 17th on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and soon to be announced PC.

Game: Grand Theft Auto V | Pre-Order
Release: September 17, 2013
Platforms: PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360
Publisher: Rockstar Games
Developer: Rockstar North

If you thought the gameplay premiere reveal last month was jaw-dropping, this one will have lightheaded. As expected, the GTA Online will be seeing more updates throughout its lifecycle, so this is just the tip of the iceberg for the gameplay we see now.
