J. Cole has been missing from action for a while, as he continues to push Dreamville members Bas and Cozz, with the latter just returning earlier this week with “Window Shopper.”
The Fayetteville artist comes out of a hiatus early this morning, to say rest in peace to Michael Brown and other black men murdered in America. “Be Free” is a prayer that one day, the world will be filled with peace and rid of injustice. There are no raps, just Cole spilling out his emotion through singing.
